Cattleya bulbosa orchid botanical by Sarah Ann Drake (English, 1803–1857 ), from Edwards’s Botanical Register, 1847. Drake gradually took over the illustration of John Lindley's botanical publications. She died in 1857, and it's been speculated that she may have suffered from cumulative poisoning from her painting materials. The Western Australian orchid genus Drakaea was named in her honour by Lindley in 1840
