Simple apple slice recipe
In a bowl mix the oil with the sugar, add the eggs, the vanilla essence and the zest of the lemon with the flour. Place the apple slices on top and press them so that they touch the bottom of the tin.

This is a very simple apple crisp. Like most baked apple recipes, you’ll want to use flavorful and firm apples — Granny Smith are our go-to. It’s also nice to combine two varieties.
