Okay.. I've seen numerous 'what shoes to pack list' and they are all RUBBISH. You cannot define a general list of shoes until you have defined the destination. Then work out the activities. Now.. you can create a list.
Women's Ceylon Lace Hiking shoes do not have to be ugly (although this is a walking shoe) if you are doing a lot of walking and want something a little dressier than Nikes, this is a good alternative. Narrow feet only.
You may need them as slippers. You may need them on the plane. Yes there are cheaper versions but why wouldn't you want a pair you create yourself?
Yep. If you don't have a pair.. why not? They are NOT Crocs. They mould to your foot and they allow you to walk for hours without hurting. You do need to break them in. They come in rubber versions now for wet weather. They come in multi-colour and patent. Also gold and silver. There has to be a pair to suit you.

You need an alternative pair. Not just for 'incase' but your foot should not be in the same shoe continuously. They mould to your foot. They were inexpensive and I can throw them away if I need to. A great alternative to the Nike Air.
the essential walking and sightseeing shoe. These are light for when they are in the luggage. Then bend and squash into small places and when visiting stinky places - easy to wash and freshen up.
