Pumpkin Globes
Pumpkin Globes - Great for Map Skills. I could see this as a group table activity where they piece it together to match their map.

Students have to arrange rooms according to directional clues. Print the floorplan on different colored cardstock and laminate them so that they are easier to work with. This activity is a bit challenging, but all of my students stayed on task and worked well collaboratively to solve it. Afterwards, students can change up the layout and write new clues as a follow-up activity.
