The inscription on the pediment reads 'Rochelle circa 1910', which could make this Edwardian era built, Victorian terrace house one of the last of its kind to be constructed in Melbourne. The St Kilda building has been beautifully restored and features an elaborate pedimented twin level iron lacework verandah, flanked by fluted Corinthian pilasters on the upper level and a palisade fence.
