Waykat Services were contracted at very short notice by a very large logging company currently working in a very remote part of North East Victoria to supply a Telstra NextG mobile Broadband Data service to connect them to the out side world, Telstra advised the client that because the area was considered " Remote" that data to this area was not possible thus the Client turned to Waykat Services for the solution to the problem.based on our past success's in the area with other clients.

This is the view and challenge that faced Waykat Services, get Telstra mobile broadband data into this very remote satellite only very hilly, steep terrain most of it only accessible by either 4 wheel drive of D10 Caterpillar for a logging company so that they had internet and email access with the outside world but as usual we rose to the challenge with our Our company philosophy is " There is no such thing as something that cannot be done it is only how can it be achieved "
The challenge ahead of us as we arrived on site at this remote location in North East Victoria obtain Telstra NextG mobile signal good enough to use to supply mobile broadband to a remote location at the bottom of a deep valley via a Ubiquiti NanostationM
This is the type of hills, mountains and terrain that we had to deal with the Telstra NextG transmitter that we needed to connect to was behind the mountain shown by the red arrow in the distance we calculated where the best reflection was going to be received and so we knew where to point our Telstra Next-G RFI 16dBi Yagi Antenna - Fully Welded Aluminium
Our engineer prepares to install the Telstra Next-G RFI 16dBi Yagi Antenna - Fully Welded Aluminium based on all our pre work on the best pitched area of the roof that will give us the very best chance and the best signal view back to the remote Telstra NextG base station some 40 Km's away over several hills and through very thick terrain.
A Waykat Services network engineer on the roof of the building higher up the valley in full safety harness as the roof was not only very slippery but also quiet high pitched, At Waykat Services safety for our staff and other people is an absolute priority.

Check out the final Telstra mobile broadband data speed test that we achieved for our client in a " Remote Satellite Only " area of Victoria they now have connection with the outside world from their office instead of having to drive to the nearest town each and every day this was saving them a minimum of 2 hours per day so at the end of each week they had saved a whole working day which made them a lot more productive and a lot happier.
