The State of Racism in Australia
From Theantibogan.wordpress.com Unfortunately, racism still remains in Australia. 97% of Australians say they have experienced racism before, and only 42% of Aborigines have reported it to the police. In 2007, there were a number of sexual abuse and violence cases Aboriginal neighborhoods. As well as making a disproportionate amount of prisoners, Aborigines are also forced to take lower paying jobs and live in poorer neighborhoods. They also have higher infant mortality and suicide rates.
