Looking for an easy way to deconstruct a cheese hamburger? Why not try our Cheeseburger Jaffle. It tastes just like a burger but without the hassle of creating the perfect pattie and no need for a white burger bun. Bonus, it can be sent to school in an insulated lunchbox or a thermos. It’s also packed with protein, calcium and veggies. And for those children who will pick out the tomato and cucumber, it’s also boosted with our hard-to-detect Veggies+ powder.
Many parents struggle to encourage their little ones to eat fish. So, I’ve created a boosted Veggies+ pizza base topped with tuna, cheese and veggies. The cheese helps to disguise the fishy taste and texture, and it’s more likely (amongst fussy taste buds) to be eaten than serving fish on its own. I always recommend using skipjack tuna as it’s lower in mercury than other varieties.
Recently, I shared My Day On a Plate, and this one-pot chicken dish was a massive hit amongst the Wholesome Child community. So, I’m thrilled to share the recipe with you first!! It combines all the rich flavours of the Mediterranean, and it’s easy to make - a total winner. My kids love it, and I save leftovers for sending to school in a thermos, or I shred the leftover chicken and add it to sandwiches and wraps. There is a surprise boost at the end with Veggies+. Enjoy!
