On Segullah: Take Your Forced Interactions and Shove Them --> On why we have meaningless friendships, forced interactions, or unnecessary conversation -- what does that even mean? And are they such a bad thing?
I wonder how many times we forgive just because we don't want to lose someone. Even if they don't deserve forgiveness. When it's hard to forgive someone, just remember that God forgave you of all the dark sins you've committed!
I have to remember this. I have a tendency to want to hold on to people forever. And when they don't want the same, I become hurt, and react by building walls. I am grateful for the time some people gave me.
If only everyone felt that way. It seems some people would rather make threats and be coddled and lied to just so they can have their way, rather than just deal with the truth and get on with their lives. It's too bad they have no respect for themselves
